Overview

The Panasonic Wall-Mounted Standard Inverter MPU Series features POWERFUL Mode for instant powerful cooling with just a push of a button. BIG FLAP / AEROWINGS directs airflow further across the room, and the unit can be conveniently controlled and managed from mobile devices with the Panasonic Comfort Cloud App (optional network adaptor required). It achieves energy efficiency without compromising comfort with Inverter technology and R32 refrigerant.

The unit has a compact design that fits easily into any interior — whether above the door, close to the ceiling, or close to a wall. Its unique design structure also makes installation and maintenance simple and convenient.

1. POWERFUL Mode POWERFUL Mode cools the place faster by decreasing the setting temperature by 2°C and operating the indoor fan at a higher speed to create powerful instant cooling during start-up.

2. BIG FLAP (9K, 12K, 18K) / AEROWINGS (24K, 28K) The big bottom flap directs cooling and comforting air across the room for an optimal cooling sensation — applicable to CS-MPU9YKZ, CS-MPU12YKZ, and CS-MPU18YKZ only. AEROWINGS concentrates cool air for further and faster airflow across the room using 2 flaps, applicable to CS-MPU24YKZ and CS-MPU28YKZ.

3. Panasonic Comfort Cloud App Control multiple air conditioning units with the Panasonic Comfort Cloud App anywhere, anytime (optional network adaptor CZ-TACG1 is required). Remotely access all air conditioning features such as tracking and monitoring usage of air conditioning units using comprehensive energy statistics, and identifying issues with error notifications for effortless troubleshooting — all from just one mobile device.

4. Inverter Technology & R32 Refrigerant Panasonic air conditioners have excellent energy efficiency with the use of environmentally friendly R32 refrigerant and energy-saving Inverter technology. R32 refrigerant is an excellent heat transfer medium with a higher cooling capacity. Its low global warming potential helps to lower carbon footprint and reduce energy costs. Panasonic’s Inverter technology uses a micro-computer with a gentle yet powerful compressor to precisely control temperature, providing a balanced comfort level while consuming less energy.

5. Quiet Mode Quiet Mode reduces the noise level of the indoor unit for a quiet, peaceful environment. Noise level is reduced by 3 dB(A) from normal settings — applicable to CS-MPU9YKZ and CS-MPU12YKZ only.

6. Remote Controller The handheld wireless remote controller is easy to use, with commonly used functions for quick access. A wireless remote controller is included in the same package as the indoor unit. The optional wired remote controller (CZ-RD514C) provides a large display for improved visibility and a vast range of information to ease operations.
